Ekin Gürsoy 
Psychologist (BA) & Psychotherapist 

Ekin Gürsoy, a psychologist at the Bilgen Therapy Institute, graduated from TED Ankara College with a bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. She began her studies in the Psychology Department at Koç University in 2021 and graduated in 2025. She maintained strong academic performance throughout her undergraduate studies and was named to the Dean's Honor List in 2021, 2023 and 2024. To strengthen her academic foundation, she worked as an assistant in Prof. Dr. Ayşe Bilge Selçuk's Child and Family Studies Laboratory from 2021 to 2023. 
 

In 2025, she completed foundational, intermediate and advanced ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) training with Dr. İbrahim Bilgen. She then completed Dr. Bilgen's "ACT Process-Based Therapy Skills" training and a 42-hour supervision program. To develop her clinical practice in specific areas, she completed "ACT for Indecision" with Dr. Patricia Zurita and "ACT for Depression" with Jim Lucas. She also completed "Person-Centered Therapy" and "Divorce and Family Conflicts" trainings with Dr. Damla Til, along with various other trainings on international online platforms. She is currently receiving training in Interpersonal Behavior Therapy (IBT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) from Glenn M. Callaghan, one of the field's pioneering trainers and therapists. 
 

Since September 2025, she has provided individual psychotherapy to young adults and adults at the Bilgen Therapy Institute, both in person and online, in Turkish and English. She continues to receive individual supervision from Dr. İbrahim Bilgen. She also works as Dr. Bilgen's clinical assistant, co-following some clients' sessions with him, and serves as an assistant trainer in ACT trainings.
